Miklos Fekete
I am a therapist offering evidence-based Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) for a wide range of common mental health difficulties. I have been a qualified therapist since 2018, working within NHS Talking Therapies services.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is a structured talking therapy that helps individuals manage difficulties by identifying and changing unhelpful patterns of thinking and behaviour. It is most commonly used to treat anxiety and depression, but can also be highly effective for a variety of other mental and physical health challenges. CBT focuses on current issues and practical strategies to improve your wellbeing day-to-day.
My background, however, is in Theology. I am a Greek Catholic and previously trained for the priesthood for several years in Rome, studying at the Pontifical Gregorian University and Augustinianum. Although my path later changed and I did not become a priest, this experience gave me a deep understanding of the emotional and spiritual challenges often faced by clergy.
You are very welcome to contact me for an initial conversation, and I’ll be happy to discuss whether CBT might be the right approach to support you.
