Ursula Walker
I qualified as a person centred counsellor in 2005 (and acheived Accreditation in Nov 2010) and have been in private practice ever since. I chose person centred counselling because it rang true for me with my faith. Jesus took people where they were at and lead them to wholeness. That is how I see counselling working. It is about me helping you to get in touch with those inner resources we all have but need a bit of help finding.
I belong to the Order of Consecrated Widows and live a life of prayer and service. I have worked closely with all my parish priests helping with Sacamental programs and really enjoyed the collaboaration that this entails.
I have trained as a prayer guide in the Lancaster Diocese and have accompanied people on IGR and helped to run parish days of prayer and recollection. One a year I organise a day of Prayer for the local Deanery at Hyning Hall.
